Rugged Elegance Prado Car Safety

Advanced Car Safety features

Prado comes with many innovations and clever features across the range to protect passengers and pedestrians in the event of a collision. Perhaps more importantly, the vehicle is also equipped with advanced technologies and systems to help prevent accidents from happening in the first place.

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)

Vehicle Stability Control helps your Prado to hold its direction through a corner by dampening understeer and oversteer, and automatically adjusting the engine power and braking force to each wheel individually. Prado also features Trailer Sway Control (TSC) to help suppress dangerous sideways swaying in windy or bumpy road conditions when towing a trailer.

Active Traction control (A-TRC)

Active Traction Control (A-TRC) manages the amount of torque distributed to each wheel, preventing tyres from spinning. Brake pressure is electronically controlled at each wheel to suppress wheel spin and sufficient traction drive-force is then optimally distributed to all four wheels.

7 SRS airbags all round

Every Prado is fitted with seven SRS Airbags(driver and front passenger seat and side airbags, driver's knee airbag and full length, curtain shield airbags) to help give driver and passengers maximum protection.

Crumple Zone

The Prado's exclusive 'Safe-T-Cell' is a cleverly engineered 'crumple zone'. It's incredibly strong, but also incredibly absorbent. So it cushions and absorbs impact - helping to protect everyone in the car and lessening damage caused in collision, to other vehicles or pedestrians.

Reversing camera [B4] Back Guide Monitor [B4] and Parking sensors [B4]

Reversing Camera[B4] is standard in all Prado models. This projects an image of the area behind the vehicle onto the audio display helping to make reversing and parking easier and safer.
On Kakadu models, the Reversing Camera is supplemented by a Back Guide Monitor, which overlays guidelines on the Reversing Camera image, helping to guide you back into even the tightest spots.
And to help you avoid hard to see obstacles, GXL, VX and Kakadu models are also fitted with parking sensors (at the rear on GXL models, and at front and rear on VX and Kakadu models).

Pre-collision safety system [B8]

In Kakadu models a Pre-Collision Safety (PCS) [B8] System detects when a crash may be imminent and takes precautions accordingly. This includes alerting the driver with a warning buzzer and display, improved braking performance through Brake Assist (BA) the moment you start braking and if the brakes are not applied, the PCS [B8] System will automatically apply the brakes and retract the seatbelts of the front passengers to reduce the chance of an injury in the collision.

Active Braking with Intelligence (AB-i)

This advanced braking system is standard across the Prado range. It incorporates Anti-Lock braking (ABS), Brake Assist (BA) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) . These technologies work together to help ensure you keep control of steering during braking and that you can stop safely and quickly in an emergency

Blind Spot Monitor(BSM) [B4]

Kakadu models feature a Blind Spot Monitor to alert you to any vehicles hovering in your blind spot while you're driving. When the Blind Spot Monitor system detects a vehicle concealed in your blind spot, a warning light automatically appears in your side mirror. If you flick the indicator switch to turn in that direction, the warning light will flash to alert you.

How to Increase Rice Production: Essential Practices for Higher Yields

Introduction: Rice is a staple food for millions of people worldwide, making its production vital for food security and economic stability. Increasing rice production is crucial to meet the growing demand. By implementing effective practices, farmers can enhance rice productivity and maximize yields. In this article, we will explore ten key strategies to increase rice production and optimize the cultivation process.   Prepare fields uniformly and as level as possible: Proper land preparation is essential for optimal rice growth. Farmers should level the fields to ensure even water distribution and minimize waterlogging. By smoothing the surface, farmers can prevent uneven growth, which leads to yield losses.   Select the right seeding date and rate: Choosing the appropriate seeding date and rate is crucial for successful rice cultivation. Consider local climatic conditions, soil type, and variety characteristics when determining the optimal time to sow the seeds....

18 ways of improving crop yield.

18 ways of improving crop yield. Increasing crop yield is essential for food security and sustainable agriculture. In this article, we will discuss some of the methods and practices that can be used to increase crop yield. 1. Soil Management Soil management is critical to increasing crop yield. Healthy soil provides essential nutrients to crops, improves water retention, and promotes good soil structure. The following practices can help improve soil health: 2. Soil Testing Soil testing is essential to determine the nutrient levels in the soil. The test results can help farmers determine the amount and type of fertilizer needed to improve soil fertility. 3. Soil Amendments Soil amendments such as manure, compost, and organic matter can improve soil structure, nutrient retention, and water-holding capacity. Soil amendments also increase microbial activity in the soil, which helps break down organic matter and release nutrients. 4. Crop Rotation Crop rotation is an effective...
